HAMPTON INN NEW BERN, New Bern – Your ideal downtown stay

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spotless and decorated in good taste which made for a comfortable accommodation, although there was some initial hallway noise that was a bit bothersome. The service, however, was outstanding, from the friendly and helpful staff to the pleasant housekeeping and dining options. The location was excellent, offering convenience and beautiful surroundings. On the downside, the dining options were limited to basic items. Overall, a good value for a stay with some minor drawbacks.

My stay at the Hampton Inn was a bit of a mixed bag. The room, while spacious and with a comfortable bed, left much to be desired due to a toilet flooding issue and a strong sewage smell on arrival. On the bright side, the service was exceptional, with staff being friendly, accommodating, and pleasant every morning. The location was convenient, being less than 10 minutes from our family gathering, but the need to raise the TV volume due to the noisy HVAC was a downside. Dining was a pleasant experience, especially with the lovely Delarena's service, although options were basic. Overall, the hotel had its ups and downs, making it an average stay.
